In a major boost to the Blues line-up, Carlton has named experienced midfielders Heath Scotland and Andrew Carrazzo to play in tomorrow night's match against the West Coast Eagles.

Carrazzo has spent the past seven weeks on the sidelines after succumbing to a shoulder injury in the opening minutes of the Blues round four clash against Essendon at the MCG in April.

He is a welcome inclusion, along with veteran Heath Scotland who missed last week with a calf strain. Scotland has again shown his durability after initial thoughts were he may miss up to three weeks after injuring his calf against Port Adelaide in round 10.

Both proved their fitness in front of hundreds of WA supporters at Carlton's open training session at the WACA this morning.

Omitted from the team are Josh Bootsma and Aaron Joseph. Joseph will join the Northern Blues for their clash against North Ballarat at Eureka Stadium on Sunday. Kane Lucas who travelled to Perth with the squad will also return to Melbourne to play for the Northern Blues on Sunday.

Bootsma, in his first year of senior football will have the weekend off and will remain in Western Australia with his family for a few days.

Rob Warnock, who was subbed out of last week's game with hip soreness, proved his fitness at training today and has been named as the starting ruckman.
