THE TEAM is in for Carlton’s Round 6 clash.

Coming out of a seven-day break, there has been one change made to the team that defeated Sydney at IKON Park.

Key defender Gen Lawson-Tavan makes her return from a two-week suspension and will look to stand tall in defence in the absence of captain Kerryn Peterson.

Peterson will miss the match-up with the Bulldogs due to a knee injury.

This will be the seventh time the two teams have met, with the head-to-head being even at three wins apiece.

The Blues will look to continue their strong contest work from last week, where they collected 112 contested possessions and took 11 contested marks, with Brea Moody contributing with five of her own.

Midfielders Keeley Sherar, Abbie McKay and Mimi Hill will have eyes on stoppages around the ground once again, with the trio accounting for 15 of Carlton’s 24 stoppage clearances last week.

Carlton will look to make it two consecutive wins for the first time this season as they set foot on the newly re-opened Whitten Oval for the first time since 2021 and continue their strong start to 2023 into the tail-end of the season.
