CARLTON has made two changes for its Indigenous Round clash with Collingwood.

Kerryn Peterson will return to the lineup after missing last week's game with a knee injury, while Maddy Hendrie also comes back into the team.

Hendrie featured in the first four matches of the AFLW season and will provide a tall option at either end for the Blues, having played at senior level this season down back but also with the capacity to provide a marking option in attack.

Ciara Fitzgerald has been omitted, while Keeley Skepper will miss after a hip injury at training on Thursday.

Skepper is expected to miss one week: Taylor Ortlepp has come into the extended squad as an emergency.

The Blues are looking to make a statement after delivering a big win at Whitten Oval last week, making it their second win in a row and their fourth for the season so far.

Triumphing over the old enemy would be the cherry on top for Carlton, who haven't defeated Collingwood since the 2019 season.

The teams will exchange gifts prior to the match to signal unity and respect, while both teams will also wear Indigenous guernseys.
