BREANN Moody’s dominant game for Carlton has not gone unnoticed, earning seven coaches' votes in the Round 8 loss to GWS.

Moody managed 46 hitouts (a career-high and club record), as well as a career-high 23 disposals (17 contested) and seven inside 50s in the narrow defeat.

Despite the absence of Jess Good, the Blues dominated the hitouts (61-34) and clearances (45-24), with Moody leading the way throughout all four quarters.

Youngster Keeley Sherar received five votes in another strong display, where the midfielder finished as the No.3 ranked player on the ground.

Kicking the opening goal of the game, Sherar's impact was felt in all areas, picking up 22 disposals, 12 tackles (matching her tally from Round 1) and 11 contested possessions, putting her body on the line and providing physicality through the middle of the ground.

Rounding out the votes was Abbie McKay, who picked up two for her 25-disposal game.

The fourth time she's received coaches' votes this season, McKay stuffed the stats sheet with 20 contested possessions, 10 clearances, eight tackles and six score involvements in a trademark game for the classy midfielder.
