CARLTON has made two changes for its clash with arch-rivals Essendon on Saturday afternoon.
Jess Good returns to the team after missing the Blues trip to Sydney with injury, looking to support Brea Moody in the ruck.
Marianna Anthony will also return to the starting lineup from injury, adding her speed and tenacious tackling pressure to the midfield for the first time since Round 4.
Anthony showed promise in the first four games of her career, averaging 14 disposals and eight tackles before being sidelined with a knee injury.
Captain Kerryn Peterson (managed) will miss the Blues trip to Windy Hill, while Daisy Walker has been omitted from the side.
Phoebe McWilliams won’t line up against the Bombers, after pulling up sore after the pre-game warmup prior to the Blues’ Round 8 fixture against GWS, whilst her replacement Ciara Fitzgerald retains her spot in the side.
The Blues are looking to rebound from an agonisingly narrow defeat to the Giants, eyeing off a second victory from as many meetings with the Bombers.
