THE Carlton Reserves will see the following players depart the football club ahead of the 2024 season: Ben Crocker, Ben Ronke, Ben Moyle, Luke Parks, Mitch Moschetti, Sam Grant and Tyreece Leiu.

Crocker played a key role in establishing the Carlton Reserves’ side, taking out the team’s inaugural VFL Best and Fairest in 2021. He was a consistent performer up forward, earning a spot in the 2021 VFL Team of the Year while helping to lead the side to a finals appearance in 2022.

Crocker played three seasons in the Navy Blue, being named captain in 2023. He was a key member of the leadership group and a very well-respected member of the side.

Ronke made his way to the Blues in 2023, playing 17 matches and kicking 28 goals for the Reserves after spending six seasons at the Sydney Swans.

Ben Crocker and Ben Ronke will both depart the Carlton Reserves.

After two seasons on Carlton’s senior list, Parks joined the reserves side in 2023 where he played 18 matches.

Moschetti played 13 games for the VFL Blues over the course of two seasons, with six of those coming in 2023.

Leiu joined Carlton in 2022 playing 11 matches in his first season and backing that up with eight matches in 2023, not making an appearance in the side after Round 15.

Grant, added to the Blues’ list in 2023, was yet to make his VFL debut.

Carlton VFL Coach Luke Power said he is proud of what the players have achieved during their time at the Blues.

“We are grateful for everything that have done here at the Blues’ and we commend them on their efforts,” Power said.

“Each person has played a role in building up the program we have here at the Blues’. Ben has especially been instrumental in building the strong culture that exists in the team since our inaugural season in 2021.

“We have a few list spots open are excited to bring in some new and experience players into the side. With our 2023 captain Ben Crocker departing it creates an opportunity for other players to step into leadership roles and really make them their own.

“They are all first-class people, and we wish them only the best for the future.”
