“We’re so rapt he got the gig.”

The words spoken by co captains Patrick Cripps and Sam Docherty following the announcement of senior coach David Teague, were strongly echoed by fellow Blues from both the AFL and AFLW. 

The players took to social media to share their appreciation for Teaguey, and congratulate him on becoming the 34th coach of the Carlton Football Club.
