FOUR CHANGES. 

A tough contest for Carlton last week has prompted some changes in the team and will now enter tomorrow with further AFLW-listed experience. 

The Blues will line up 12 AFLW-listed players against the GWS Giants who are yet to play a game this season.

Searching for their second win, Carlton will want to remain in the top six in front of a home crowd.

Keeley Sherar (15 disposals, eight tackles and seven clearances) was a standout for the Blues in their 21-point loss last week. Her running ability and work for the ground ball gave the team in Navy Blue glimpses of hope looking down the field.

The three additions in Marianna Anthony, Lily Goss and Gen Lawson-Tavan (all AFLW-listed) will suit up in the Navy Blue ahead of their first home game.

VFLW 2023 Club Best and Fairest runner-up in Lawson-Tavan will bring plenty of experience in the backline beside co-captain Octavia Di Donato. They will protect the ball at all costs and place a massive amount of pressure on the Giants' forwards.

Emily Hurley has also received a call-up and will join the fold in the backline, while Danika Di Santo retains her spot after a late call-up last week. 

Simone Mooney and Katie Prendergast have been named as emergencies this week alongside Isabella Parnell and Isla Baldwin.

Carlton will host the GWS Giants at IKON Park on Saturday, ready for the first bounce at 2:00pm (AEDT).
