CARLTON’S team is in for the VFL Round 3 game against Collingwood.

In the Blues’ first home game of the 2024 campaign, the Carlton Reserves have made five changes to the side which last took on North Melbourne a fortnight ago.

Experienced VFL-listed talent Ned Cahill and Liam McMahon - playing against his old side - will provide some firepower for the Blues in attack, while Blake Kuipers has been named for his first game of the season.

There’s also a Carlton Reserves debut for Bailey Lambert, while Kristian Ferronato - formerly of the Northern Knights - will make his VFL debut.

It means the Blues will have blooded nine new faces in the opening two games of the VFL season.

Brodie Kemp and Marc Pittonet come out of the side due to AFL selection, while Alex Cincotta has been managed. Aidan Mills and Hayden Gill also come out of the side through injury.

The Blues have named nine AFL-listed players in total, with Lewis Young the senior head among youthful Blues in Dom Akuei, Jaxon Binns, Lachie Cowan, Harry Lemmey, Ashton Moir, Rob Monahan, Hudson O’Keeffe and Billy Wilson.

Today’s game kicks off from 2:05pm and can be watched via AFL.com.au or 7plus, as the VFL broadcast game for this week.
