CARLTON’S team of 23 is in for its Round 9 clash with St Kilda at the MCG.

The Blues have made three changes for the special occasion which will also double up as Spud’s Game.

Confirmed earlier in the day by AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss, Jack Silvagni will return to bolster the Blues’ backline after missing last weekend through a hand injury.

He is joined in the side by wingman Jaxon Binns, who returns for his first game of the 2025 campaign, as well as Francis Evans.

Binns has built steadily into the VFL season and produced his best performance of the year so far on the weekend, producing 33 disposals and kicking a last-quarter goal to be a standout for the VFL Blues last Sunday. It’ll be Binns’ first game since the last time the Blues played St Kilda in the final home-and-away game of 2024.

Evans was nominated as the best player afield for the VFL Blues last weekend, recording team-highs for clearances and tackles inside 50 while also recording six clearances.

Lachie Fogarty will miss tomorrow night's game after feeling some minor hamstring tightness that saw him unable to complete Wednesday's main training session. At this stage, he is expected to return in Round 10, with his availability to be determined next week.

They take the place in the side of Matthew Carroll and Sam Docherty, who have been omitted.

The Round 9 game will take place under Friday night lights at the MCG, kicking off from 7:40pm.
