Come along to Open Training at IKON Park on Saturday 31 May, presented by Barkly Smokehouse!
There will be something for every fan, including a post-training signing session, kids’ activities, exciting giveaways and the latest merchandise available from The Carlton Shop.
While registration isn’t required, we highly recommend it. By registering, you’ll go into the draw to win one of five Barkly Smokehouse hampers!
KEY TIMINGS
- 8am - The Carlton Shop and Café 1864 opens
- 8:30am - Gate 6 opens
- 9am - Open training commences
WHAT’S ON
- Join Guide Dogs Victoria outside Gate 6 to learn about their programs - and meet some dogs!
- Plenty of giveaways outside Gate 6, thanks to Love The Game
- Food and coffee available, including Barkly Smokehouse sausages and toasties
- Head inside Gate 6 for bracelet making and face painting
CHARLIE’S CREW
Fans attending Open Training and Charlie’s Crew will need to exit the venue and re-enter via Gate 6 when registration opens for their Charlie’s Crew session
- Session one:
- Registration opens at 1:15pm
- Session is from 2:20 – 3:20pm
- Session two:
- Registration opens at 2:55pm
- Session is from 3:30 – 4:30pm

CARLTON COLLEGE OF SPORT OPEN DAY
Take a tour of the facilities and learn about the courses plus the career pathways through the Carlton College of Sport.
Enter via Gate 2 to commence your tour.
GETTING THERE
Whether it be by car, public transport or ride share, there are plenty of transport options to IKON Park.
CAR
- There will be no parking available at IKON Park or the Northern Lawn.
- There is limited parking available on Royal Parade that is free on weekends
- There is further parking available in surrounding streets, including free parking at Garton Street and Bowen Crescent.
- There is free parking available for three hours at Barkley Square, a 14-minute walk from IKON Park.
TRAIN
- Metro Trains operate services near IKON Park via the Upfield train line
- Jewell Station is a 16-minute walk to IKON Park
- Royal Park Station is a 15-minute walk to IKON Park
TRAM
- Yarra Trams operate services to IKON Park via line 19
- Take the tram to stop 16 (Walker Street/Royal Parade) and walk three minutes to IKON Park
ACCESSIBILITY
- Four accessible parking spots are available in the main carpark at IKON Park
- Accessible seating is located at the Open Training entrance (Gate 6).
