NEXT Sunday, the Blueout returns.
After the announcement back in February, the Blues officially unveiled their guernsey to be worn next Sunday against the Bombers on King’s Birthday Eve, returning to the streets of Carlton with the guernsey that draws on the story of the suburb.
Once again flanked by bluestone, co-vice captains Jacob Weitering and Charlie Curnow were again joined by Jack Silvagni - originals from the 2017 photoshoot - plus fellow draft class member Harry McKay.
The bluestone is the source of inspiration of the original guernsey worn in 2017, remaining engrained in the DNA of the Blues — that Round 3, 2017 game also saw Jack Silvagni celebrate his first ever Navy Blue win, with revered AFL photographer Michael Willson on hand to capture the moment.

Now again returning for the 2025 King’s Birthday Eve clash with Essendon, Carlton takes immense pride in honouring the history of the Club and its suburb, where it has been based for over 160 years.
It’s a guernsey which went down extremely well with Carlton’s extensive supporter base, with the choice for its return coming down to a fan vote at the end of last year.
The Blueout range is available now via The Carlton Shop - with limited stock available, don’t miss out on your chance to mark the occasion in style!
