THE CARLTON Football Club, in partnership with Imaging Associates, is today proud to unveil Imaging Associates Carlton – a new world-class medical imaging centre, located at the Club’s home, IKON Park.    

The Blues now have medical imaging services available onsite at their training facilities, an innovation that will not only see the advancement of the Club’s cutting-edge high-performance facilities but also provide far wider benefits.  

Imaging Associates Carlton will also be accessible to the public, providing high-quality healthcare to the broader community, including a focus on both women's health and increased research into injury treatment and prevention. 

Located on the left-side of the IKON Park main building, as you enter from Royal Parade, Imaging Associates Carlton will provide state-of-the-art scanning equipment services centred around – MRI, CT, X-Ray, Mammography, and Ultrasound. 

This most recent and significant project, the culmination of almost five years of detailed planning, has solidified IKON Park as arguably the country’s most elite training facility, following on from the $50 million transformation of the venue that was completed back in August, 2022. 

Carlton President Rob Priestley said Imaging Associates Carlton would not only be accessible to athletes across all four of the Club’s football programs, but the services will also be available to the wider community.  

"The opening of the new state-of-the-art imaging facility at IKON Park today marks a significant advancement for our football club, that will have wide-reaching benefits and extend far beyond our athletes and into the local community," Priestley said.  

"To be the first AFL Club with an imaging centre located within our own training ground aligns to the Club’s commitment to solidifying IKON Park as one of the country’s most elite, high-performance facilities.  

"Having a world-class medical space on-site has been a long-standing vision for the Club and to see it come to fruition after rigorous planning is something we are very proud of, and we thank Imaging Associates for their expertise and partnership throughout the project. 

“As a club we are proud to now have IKON Park entrenched as not only the home of AFLW, but as one of the most elite high-performance facilities in Australia.” 

Founded in 2008, Imaging Associates is a well-known and trusted organisation that currently operates 12 clinics across Victoria and NSW, whilst also providing radiology reporting services to public hospitals across those two states.   

The organisation has had a long-standing relationship with the Carlton Football Club, providing accurate imaging for over a decade.  

Dr Mark Rassie, Imaging Associates' Clinical Director for Carlton and MSK Lead, who also oversees Carlton’s game day imaging will lead the centre at IKON park.
