Join us for an action-packed day at IKON Park these school holidays, with Great Southern Bank’s Footy Fun Day! 

There will be plenty happening, including the first opportunity to watch our AFLW team train this season plus the chance to win Toyota AFL Grand Final tickets, while four lucky finalists will take their chance at winning $1 million thanks to Great Southern Bank’s Million Dollar Footy giveaway!  

KEY TIMINGS 
 
Thursday 10 July 

  • 8:30am: The Carlton Shop and Café 1864 opens  
  • 9:30am: Gate 6 opens, with coffee and food available to purchase at the entrance 
    • The first 100 people to arrive will receive a $20 voucher for The Carlton Shop! 
  • 9:45am: Face painting, friendship bracelets and our resident DJ! 
  • 10:00am: Kick to kick opportunity at IKON Park 
  • 10:30am: Interviews with Carlton AFL and AFLW players 
  • 10:45am: AFLW team begin training 
  • 11am: Great Southern Bank Million Dollar Footy live give away. Stand by as our four finalists have their chance at winning $1 million!  
  • 11:30am: Toyota AFL Grand Final ticket giveaway
  • 12:15pm: Event concludes

  • Visit The Carlton Shop to stock up on merch ahead of the AFLW season! 
  • For the kids: face painting and bracelet making inside Gate 6  
  • Food and beverage available at Café 1864, open from 8:30am

GETTING THERE  

Whether it be by car, public transport or ride share, there are several transport options to IKON Park.   

TRAIN   

  • Metro Trains operate services near IKON Park via the Upfield train line  
  • Jewell Station is a 16-minute walk to IKON Park  
  • Royal Park Station is a 15-minute walk to IKON Park  

TRAM  

  • Yarra Trams operate services to IKON Park via line 19  
  • Take the tram to stop 16 (Walker Street/Royal Parade) and walk three minutes to IKON Park  

CAR   

There is parking available on Royal Parade that is free on weekends  

There is further parking available in surrounding streets, including free parking at Garton Street and Bowen Crescent. There is free parking available for three hours at Barkly Square, a 14-minute walk from IKON Park.  

 ACCESSIBILITY  

  • Four accessible parking spots are available in the main carpark at IKON Park  
  • Accessible seating is located at gate 6.
