LIAM Reidy will pull on the Navy Blue after joining the Blues for 2026 and beyond.
Agreeing to a deal on the second day of the 2025 Continental Tyres AFL trade period, Carlton will give pick Nos. 50 and 68 in exchange for the former Fremantle ruckman and picks Nos. 53 and 71.
Spending three years over in the west, the Frankston recruit displays a strong aerial presence - combined with his agility around the contest - making him a valuable asset in both the ruck and across the field.
Notching up some impressive form in the WAFL, Reidy averaged 16 disposals and 41 hitouts across 17 games, as well as seven goals.
The 25-year-old also comes with premiership experience, starring in Peel Thunder’s 2024 WAFL premiership win with 36 hitouts and 15 disposals.
His standout season was further rewarded, going on to win Peel Thunder’s highest honour, named as the 2025 Tuckey Medallist.
Carlton Head of List Management Nick Austin said the Club is excited to welcome Reidy to the Blues.
“A true competitor, we see a lot of promise in Liam,” Austin said.
“His form in the WAFL in recent years has really caught our eye, with his athleticism and ability to cover the ground a standout. We see him being a significant addition to our ruck group alongside Marc Pittonet and Hudson O’Keeffe.
“We can’t wait to see Liam get to work in the pre-season and are excited to see what he can do at IKON Park next year.”
