CARLTON Reserves captain Heath Ramshaw has today confirmed he will depart IKON Park.
Arriving at Carlton from the Northern Knights in 2021, Ramshaw played 52 matches in the Navy Blue after making his debut back in Round 10, 2022.
Playing two finals in his debut year, Ramshaw soon became a mainstay of the Carlton Reserves, going on to be named the VFL Blues’ Best Young Player in 2023.
In his fourth year at Carlton in 2025, Ramshaw was elevated to co-captain of the Carlton Reserves alongside teammate Liam McMahon, with Ramshaw taking on sole duties after McMahon was recruited to Essendon in the AFL Mid-Season Draft.
A former student of the Carlton College of Sport Football Development program, Ramshaw took the opportunity to pass on his gratitude for his tenure at IKON Park, saying he cherished his time at the Club.
“The past four years have been amazing, and I am truly grateful for every single person who has a played a part in my football journey at Carlton,” Ramshaw said.
“Being a leader of the Carlton Reserves is something I will forever be proud of and the opportunity to play at such a great Club is something I will hold close to my heart.
“I have loved all my time at Carlton and want to thank everyone for their investment in me.”
