It was a day to remember for Carlton draftee Talor Byrne, who was welcomed to IKON Park on Monday morning in exciting fashion.
The tenacious small forward was taken with pick No.45 last Thursday night in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft.
Surprised on Monday with his Carlton guernsey, complete with his new number, as well as his personalised Navy Blue locker, Byrne exclaimed it was 'like Christmas".
Byrne, who wore No.9 for the GWV Rebels, now takes the No.39 guernsey for Carlton, which was previously allocated to new recruit Liam Reidy.
Following the completion of the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft, Reidy has made the move into the No.25 jumper.
