THE TEAM is in for Carlton’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round home clash with the Western Bulldogs.
After a big week at IKON Park, the Blues will have their focus firmly set on the task at hand when hosting the Dogs as they search for a return to winning form.
In its first team under Interim Coach Josh Fraser, the Blues have named the solitary change from last week’s clash with Brisbane.
It was announced on Wednesday night that Jack Ison would make his AFL debut on Saturday night, joining fellow 2026 AFL debutants Harry Dean and Jagga Smith. Billy Wilson also reprises his spot in the line-up, meaning the Blues have four players entering the game with single-digit game tallies in their career to date.
Ison takes the place in the side of Adam Saad, who will miss due to injury.
Saad is expecting to miss just the one week after scans on Thursday confirmed he suffered a low-grade hamstring strain at training yesterday.
The Blues will be chasing the offensive signs they showed in the second half of the clash at the Gabba with the Lions, with Ison adding x-factor to a side which managed 20 marks inside 50 last Friday night.
Saturday night’s game kicks off from 7:35pm at Marvel Stadium.
