The 2026 AFLW fixture has been released today with the Blues receiving an ideal run of home game timeslots to excite all Bluebaggers.

The Blues will officially kick off the 2026 season, for the second year running and the seventh time in AFLW history, in a double-header at Marvel Stadium against St Kilda.

A run of Sunday afternoon home games then brings the Carlton family back to IKON Park, with Adelaide in Round 2 and Collingwood in Round 4.

The Collingwood clash falls in the heart of the Indigenous Round (Rounds 3 and 4), with the side running out in the Indigenous guernsey worn proudly across all four programs.

The pointy end of the season (Rounds 7 to 11), will also see the Blues backed by a strong Carlton crowd, playing four games in five weeks at IKON Park.

Back-to-back fixtures in Rounds 7 and 8 begin with an AFL Grand Final Eve public holiday showpiece against Richmond, before a Thursday night meeting with Hawthorn during the school holidays.

Pride Round takes centre stage across Rounds 9 and 10, with a fortnight dedicated to celebrating acceptance, belonging and equality throughout the competition.

Bluebaggers across the country will have the opportunity to support the Club live, with the Blues travelling to Perth (Round 3), Sydney (Round 9) and Brisbane (Round 12).

The home-and-away season closes with unfinished business in a preliminary final rematch against the Lions back at Brighton Homes Arena.

Carlton CEO Graham Wright said the fixture offers a great opportunity for the Carlton family to come together at IKON Park and support their team.

“This is an exciting year for our AFLW program, which built real momentum last season and developed a brand of football that created a great sense of energy at IKON Park,” Wright said.

“We are proud that our home continues to feature prominently, for both Carlton and clubs across the competition.

“To be the No.1 Victorian club for home-game attendance in 2025 shows just how strongly our Carlton family are embracing the AFLW experience at our home.

"We’re looking forward to building on that unique experience and the atmosphere created when Carlton people come together at IKON Park and get behind our team.”
