DAMIAN Truslove speaks on the performances of every AFL-listed Blue in their Round 15 clash with Richmond.

6. Zac Williams
13 disposals, five tackles, one goal

Zac Williams played across half-back, and every time he got the ball, he was involved with a positive chain for us from an offensive point of view. He was an outstanding leader on the day, looking after our young backs, and he also halved a couple of critical contests late in the game.

8. Lachie Fogarty
28 disposals, seven clearances, one goal

‘Fog’ had an outstanding game. He played across half-forward and found plenty of the ball and was very clean with his possessions. He also worked really hard to get back and support our defence.

16. Ben Camporeale
27 disposals, six clearances, five tackles

Benny played in the midfield, and he had a good balance of winning the ball inside and outside the contest while he also tackled well. It was his first game back post-hamstring injury, and he got through.

21. Lucas Camporeale
26 disposals, four marks, four inside 50s

For Lucas, it was only his second game back from a long-term injury, and he played on the wing. His running patterns were excellent, both when it came to going forward to challenge the opposition and also to run back to support our defence. He also got many handball receives with his hard running and intensity.

28. Harry Charleson
22 disposals, three marks

‘Gaz’ played across half-back again: he's finding a lot of the football consistently this year, giving us a lot of rebound 50s while his ball use continues to improve. The impressive thing is that in his last two games, he's been stronger defensively.

31. Campbell Chesser
22 disposals, six marks, one goal

Chesser had a strong game on the wing. He had a good balance of winning the ball inside and outside of the contest and used the ball better this week, and also his patterns to support our defence were very good.

36. Cooper Lord
27 disposals, six clearances, one goal

‘Lordy’ played in the midfield and had an outstanding game. He was hard and tough in the contest and also got involved on the outside of the contest as well, while he showed fantastic leadership on the day.

37. Jordan Boyd
18 disposals, eight marks, one goal

‘Boydy’ played a combination of half-back and half-forward this week. I thought he ran hard to support contest, halved a lot of critical one-on-one contests in our defensive 50, and was also a strong leader on the day.

38. Flynn Riley
17 disposals, 43 hitouts, five clearances

Flynn obviously played the majority of the game in the ruck. We were +28 in hitouts, so he gave our midfielders first use at stoppage, while he also took a couple of strong contested marks. He continues to improve.

40. Hudson O’Keeffe
Eight disposals, 10 hitouts, one goal

‘Skull’ played the majority of the game as a key forward and a little bit of time in the ruck. In the ruck, his jump and follow-up were very good. As a key forward, his positioning to provide an outlet for us coming out of defensive 50 was better, and he halved a lot of critical aerial contests.

41. Matt Duffy
Seven disposals, two marks

‘Duff’ played in the back line this week. He is learning his craft, but I thought that he had a strong emphasis on getting his defence right first, and his positioning continues to improve.

42. Adam Saad
22 disposals, six marks, seven intercepts

‘Saady’ played across half-back, and I thought he was excellent defensively. He supported our defensive 50, halving a number of critical contests, while he created some really good forward-half turnovers. On the back of that, he gave us a bit of bounce with his speed.

43. Ashton Moir
18 disposals, eight marks, two goals

Ash Moir played two roles, playing forward and also on the wing. His running patterns as a winger were very good to support defence, and up forward, he showed some of his exciting traits which we love when it came to his ability to be clean and also to hit the scoreboard.

45. Flynn Young
Nine disposals, two tackles, one goal

Flynn Young played across half-forward. He ran really hard two ways to support our defence and also to challenge deep forward where he's really dangerous. His crumbing, positioning and his pressure in our forward 50 were also improved.
