CARLTON has named a change to its 23 for Saturday night’s clash with Hawthorn.
And there’s a big in - literally.
Flynn Riley will make his AFL debut, becoming the Blues’ sixth AFL debutant of the campaign.
Formerly of the Carlton Reserves, it’s been quite the rise for Riley, who was recruited to the Blues in the mid-season draft.
Riley, who has averaged over 36 hitouts for the VFL Blues this season, comes into the side in place of Marc Pittonet.
Pittonet was this morning ruled out of Saturday night’s clash with Hawthorn after experiencing a minor hamstring strain.
Riley will join fellow 2026 AFL debutants Jagga Smith, Harry Dean, Talor Byrne, Wade Derksen and Jack Ison in the side.
