IT’S A trio of Navy Blue changes leading into Saturday night’s clash with Collingwood.
In an old-school grudge match which will see both sides wear Heritage/Retro guernseys, the Blues have confirmed three players will return to the side for the clash with the Pies.
Carlton will call on the experience of Blake Acres on the wing, who performed strongly in his return to the VFL last weekend.
That’s also the case for Liam Reidy, who will play his first AFL game since Round 8 - and his first ever game on the MCG.
The big man starred for the Carlton Reserves in his first game back from an ankle injury, kicking two goals from the ruck.
Rounding out the changes is Cooper Lord, with the popular youngster returning to the side for his fourth game of the season.
Reuniting with best mate Jagga Smith, Lord adds more midfield depth to the Carlton line-up alongside George Hewett, who has been named for the clash with the old enemy.
Coming out of the side are Ollie Hollands, Jack Ison and Flynn Riley (all omitted).
