Carlton has confirmed that Nell Morris-Dalton has been added to the AFLW list as an injury replacement player ahead of the 2026 season.
Morris-Dalton brings a breadth of AFLW experience, playing 38 games across two clubs after spending four seasons at the Western Bulldogs before crossing to Collingwood, where she was the Magpies’ leading goalkicker in 2023.
Arriving at the Carlton VFLW earlier this year, kicking the first goal of the 2026 VFLW season, she has impressed as a strong marking forward with a sharp football IQ.
Her addition will strengthen Carlton's front half, offering a commanding overhead option and a player who will blend well with the Blues' existing forward structure.
A list spot was made available after Carlton midfielder Maddy Gueirin was placed on the inactive list after rupturing her ACL.
Head of AFLW Eleni Valos said Morris-Dalton had earned her opportunity.
"Her elevation is a fitting reward; Nell has thrown herself into this program since arriving and her preparation and professionalism have been outstanding," Valos said.
"At just 25 years old, she brings significant AFLW experience and will be a valuable addition to our young forward line.
"She is a natural forward who knows how to find the ball and find the goal. We are looking forward to seeing what she brings to our team."
