STRENGTH.
It’ll be a popular milestone this Saturday at Marvel Stadium when Marc Pittonet runs out for his 100th AFL game.
It’s a long time coming for the Blues’ big man, who debuted over a decade ago in brown and gold when he ran out onto the MCG on Easter Monday, 2016.
Pittonet was drafted to Hawthorn in November 2014, selected with pick No.50 out of the Oakleigh Chargers.
After six seasons and seven games at Hawthorn, Pittonet made a Deadline Day move to the Blues in 2019, quickly becoming the Blues’ No.1 ruck after Matthew Kreuzer’s injury in Round 1 of 2020.
Since that moment, Pittonet has been the ultimate Carlton person and someone who has given his all to the Navy Blue jumper.
A two-time Best Clubman, Pittonet has played a career-best number of games in 2026, doubling his career-high goals tally in the process while continuing to pride himself on getting better every day.
Working closely with former teammate and now long-time ruck coach Kreuzer, the popular Blue will become the latest AFL player to 100 games - a milestone which even he conceded may never arrive.
Here’s to you, ‘Pitto’.
