Carlton will return to the home of football next Friday night, looking to keep its season alive when it takes on Geelong.

The elimination final has been confirmed by the AFL to kick off at 7:40pm on Friday 4 September.

The Blues will take on the Cats as the lowest-ranked wildcard winner, qualifying in eighth position and therefore being fixtured to take on the fifth-place Cats.

The winner of next week’s game will take on the losing side of the Fremantle-Hawthorn qualifying final.
