CARLTON has confirmed one change to its line-up to take on Geelong.
Returning to the MCG on Friday night for the elimination final, the Blues will be looking to keep their momentum rolling when taking on the experienced Cats.
Wade Derksen has been named to play in his first final, continuing an extraordinary rise for the first-year Blue.
Derksen takes the place in the side of the injured Nick Haynes.
Both Haynes and Will Hayward were unable to get through main training and are therefore unavailable for selection.
It’s an otherwise settled team for the Blues, who rose to the occasion in front of over 90,000 people last weekend to keep their season alive with a win over Melbourne.
In front of another sold out MCG crowd on Friday night, the Blues will have to do the same against the finals experience of the Cats. The game kicks off from 7:40pm.
