The Carlton Football Club can confirm two additional changes to its AFL playing list.
Ben Camporeale and Lucas Camporeale were today informed that they will potentially be considered for pre-season train-on opportunities once the draft in November has been completed.
Lucas played three games for the Club during his debut season last year, while Ben is yet to make an appearance at AFL level.
“It is never easy to make these decisions as a club, but ultimately we need to ensure we have maximum flexibility in regard to our list spots ahead of the upcoming Trade and Draft period,” Blues General Manager of Football Chris Davies said.
“Ben and Lucas have shown great commitment over the last two years, and although we are not able to commit to them for 2027, we have informed them both that they will be considered for potential train-on opportunities once we have completed the November draft.”
Today’s announcement has now seen the Club make a total of 10 list changes ahead of the upcoming Trade and Draft period, with Ben and Lucas Camporeale adding to the departures of Zac Williams, Jordan Boyd, Lachie Fogarty, Lewis Young, Elijah Hollands, Flynn Young, Harry Charleson and Matt Duffy.
