Surrounded amongst the VFLW’s best. 

Four Carlton VFLW players have been recognised at Monday night’s VFL and VFLW awards, with Hannah Scott, Lucy Burke, Nell Morris-Dalton and Octavia Di Donato named in the final 21 of the VFLW Team of the Year.   

In just her second year as a Blue, Scott established herself as a dominant force through the middle, averaging 27 disposals and 15 contested possessions in season 2026. Scott led the Carlton midfield to its first finals appearance since 2023. 

Playing every game this season, key defender Burke provided a wealth of experience and stability down back for the Blues, averaging 15 disposals, five marks and seven intercepts per game in 2026. 

After moving across from Collingwood AFLW, Morris-Dalton pulled on the Navy blue for the first time this season and never looked back. The key forward averaged 16 disposals, six score involvements and kicked 11 goals in just nine matches.  

In those nine matches, the 25-year-old's ability to impact in the air and on ground level earnt herself an injury replacement spot on Carlton’s AFLW list.  

A stellar 2026 season saw winger Di Donato named on the interchange.

The third year Blue averaged 21 disposals and kicked 6 goals in the 2026 season, and was a key pillar in Carlton VFLW’s rise up the ladder.
