LOOKING to make it two from two.

Carlton’s Poppy Scholz has earned a spot in the AFL Players’ Associated 22under22 squad - and now, she needs your vote!

After earning selection in the final team last year at centre half-back, Scholz can do the double by being selected as a forward in 2026.

A key piece of Carlton’s side after just two seasons, Scholz has played a role which has defied her years this season, acting as the focal point of the Blues’ forward line after making the shift late last season.

AFLW R7 | Super Scholz seals the deal with fast footwork

Poppy Scholz uses her creativity and composure to seal a dominant Carlton win

Her importance to the Blues has been typified by ranking second at Carlton for score involvements (behind only Erone Fitzpatrick) while she is ranked No.3 in the whole AFLW competition for goal assists in 2026.

As the Club’s most prominent contested mark this season, Scholz has formed a strong partnership up forward with Nell Morris-Dalton, while she’s also spent time supporting in the ruck this season.
