HARRY McKay has been charged with striking following Carlton’s JLT 1 win over Essendon at Ikon Park.

The incident, which occurred in the fourth quarter of last Thursday’s game, was graded as careless, high contact and low impact, resulting in a sanction of $3,000.

This sanction can be reduced to $2,000 with an early plea.

McKay will not miss any games as a result of the charge and will be available for JLT 2 against Collingwood next Monday as well as Round 1 against the Tigers at the MCG on March 21.
