Sunday’s match against Melbourne marks the Blues’ inaugural AFLW CARLTON RESPECTS game. CARLTON RESPECTS was developed in 2016 to educate students about respect and equality using the platform of football.
Against the Demons, the Blues will wear orange socks in support of this important campaign to create public conversation and take action in relation to gender equality for the prevention of violence against women.
Members and supporters are urged to wear orange to the game to support the initiative. There will also be orange CFC pins, as well as t-shirts to buy at the ground, with proceeds going towards the Blues Foundation.
