The Carlton Football Club played host to a very special guest on Wednesday morning.

Blues CEO Steven Trigg and President Mark LoGiudice had the privilege of welcoming ZTE Corporation Senior Vice President and CEO of Mobile Devices Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Jacky Zhang.

Zhang, along with Daniel Zhao, who is the Managing Director ZTE Australia, toured the facilities accompanied by Trigg and LoGiudice.

ZTE Australia has been a partner of the Club for the past two seasons, with the technology giant becoming Carlton’s official ball partner in 2016.

The corporation is a leader in smartphone devices worldwide, having established itself in both America and Europe as the fourth most used smartphone brand in both regions, and they continue to be an exciting and emerging brand in the Australia market.

Speaking to Carlton Media Zhang said he was honoured to visit Carlton.

“I am honoured to have been invited to the Club today, and excited to be involved with Carlton Football Club which has such a long proud history,” Zhang said.

“I believe ZTE and Carlton share many similarities and common goals – we look forward to continuing to work together.”

Carlton CEO Steven Trigg reiterated the strong relationship both brands share.

“Partnerships are an integral part of the Carlton Football Club and ZTE Australia has been an integral part of our journey as a football club over the past two years,” Trigg said.

“Just as importantly, we are proud to be part of their journey in Australia.”
