NEW VFLW Senior Coach Paul Griffiths has welcomed the 2020 VFLW fixture which was released today by AFL Victoria.

The fixture features five VFLW/VFL double-headers, which Griffiths sees as a great opportunity to build a stronger connection between the two programs.

Having joined Carlton's women's program at the end of 2019 following an extremely successful stint as the senior assistant coach of Richmond's premiership-winning VFL team, Griffiths is looking forward to helping to nurture Carlton's budding young talent.

“To have the supporters of the two programs there on the same day, to have two teams play, it's good to have that one club feel,” Griffiths said.

“The Carlton playing list has so much potential and I’m really looking forward to investing in this group and getting the best out of every player who pulls on the Navy Blue guernsey."
