AS PART of Carlton Media’s commitment to keep members and fans connected during the AFL shutdown, David Teague took to Twitter to answer your questions.

Here are a few of the best:

Have you unearthed a hidden talent/skill during your isolation? – Blue AbroadHave you unearthed a hidden talent/skill during your isolation? – Blue Abroad

DT: Not unearthed, but I’ve rediscovered my passion for puzzles. I’ve finished my first, I’m onto my second, lookout.

Hi Teaguey you can bring back any Carlton player from the past at their peak and add to the current list. Who have you got?

DT: Bruce Doull. Can’t go past him: imagine him now with the headband. He’d be phenomenal.

It seems as though our players aren’t always on the same page. What do you think the biggest challenge is for our squad to build cohesion? - Rhys

DT: Good question. The biggest challenge is games together, and then understanding the importance of playing a role and how that ends up yielding success.

Who’s been best on field in the Teague household? – Hunter

DT: Oh, tough one: they all play a role. My oldest son Jack has been outstanding in the morning occupying the other two, he gets the votes.

What can we expect from Brodie Kemp next season? What position and style does he play as well as what are some of his strengths that showed that led to us drafting him with our first pick. How is he going dealing with missing a large chunk of time in his first season? – Adam

DT: Brodie is tracking really nicely. His focus is on his training, which he's completing to a high standard. The timeframe is unknown but he's doing everything he can. He's doing vision with the back line but he can play midfield and forward as well.

Hi coach. How far away was Stocker from being selected before the season was suspended?

DT: Liam got a taste of senior footy last year and got a great understanding of the areas he needs to work on. He’s working hard on those.

When in the box on game day, how much control do you feel you have on the flow of the game? You've talked about levers that can change the game - does it come just from the coaches or do the players also give honest feedback and approach the coaches on thoughts? – James

DT: Most of your work happens between Monday-Friday and you go into game day with a few levers you can pull. For example, Ed onto Neale in the Brisbane game. You do most of the teaching during the week and the players go out and play on the weekend. When the players come off, the coaches often speak to them and get feedback from the players on what they're feeling throughout the game.

How are the new draftees coming along, especially Philp and Ramsay? – Neil

DT: They were tracking really well and have a great attitude. Sam Ramsay injured his ankle and missed a couple of weeks. Philpy showed some really promising signs in the practice match against Collingwood and showed he’s going to be a very good player for our club.

Let’s go back to your playing days – who was your toughest opponent and why? – Jono

DT: Aaron Hamill was physically the toughest, he whacked me all day. Warren Tredrea was the most difficult: he got hold of me the most.
