Carlton’s media team has selected this week’s Plays of the Day from the Round 19 clash with Fremantle at Patersons Stadium.

First up is captain courageous Kade Simpson who risks his body to take a defensive mark in the opening quarter – having eyes only for the football.

Next is Simpson again, this time in the final term. The vice-captain lays a tackle to win the football, then runs around the man on the mark to slot through a goal.

Finally, it’s Marc Murphy’s amazing goal from the boundary which has also been nominated for the AFL’s Goal of the Year.
