Jarrad Waite, Kade Simpson and Simon White are the inclusions with Nick Duigan, Frazer Dale and Bret Thornton all being omitted.
Thornton has been named an emergency, along with David Ellard and Bret Thornton.
Carlton has named youngsters Tom Bell and Marcus Davies along with Andrew Collins and Brock McLean on the interchange bench for Sunday.
Fans will no doubt be looking forward to the return of key forward Jarrad Waite, who will also celebrate his 150th match with the Carlton Football Club. Waite returned to action with the Northern Blues last Sunday, his first match since playing against St Kilda in round 7.
Kade Simpson was given the all clear by his surgeon earlier in the week after recovering from a broken jaw and Simon White will look to make an impact in his first AFL match of the year.
