The AFL has deemed this weekend Women's Round in a bid to acknowledge the role women play within the industry.
Carlton Sponsorship Executive Jennifer Glynn is one of 16 full time female employees at the Blues and said that women play an invaluable role that often goes unseen.
“Not only are more and more women watching and playing football, many females are now looking to the AFL to pursue realistic career pathways,” she said.
“Women are involved at all levels of football, but there is also a long way to go and much more to achieve.”
