CARLTON has made two changes for its 258th encounter with old enemy Collingwood.

The Blues have rewarded strong form at reserves level for the Round 14 encounter, recalling Paddy Dow and Cameron Polson.

It will be Dow's first game since the season opener back in March, while Polson - who has relished a move to half back at reserves level - will return to the AFL line-up for the first time since Round 5, 2019.

A knee injury during the shutdown period delayed Dow's progress, with the young midfielder returning to form and fitness in the reserves scratch matches in recent weeks. He has been best afield in two of the last three games, collecting 12 clearances against the Western Bulldogs last weekend.

Polson is likely to take the spot of Sam Petrevski-Seton, who - like Matthew Cottrell - have been managed ahead of a busy fixture: Sunday's game marks Carlton's first of four in a 14-day stretch.

The change means that Petrevski-Seton's run of 65 consecutive games - the longest-active streak at Carlton, and the seventh-longest in the AFL - has come to an end.

Tomorrow's game against Collingwood will commence at 3:35pm AEST, with the game to be broadcast live on Channel 7 in Victoria.
