THREE Blues have polled in the AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award votes for strong performances against the Tigers in Round 4.

Bluebaggers won’t be surprised to see Darcy Vescio’s named included in the count, the inaugural Blue and 2021 leader collecting seven votes for her standout performance.

Vescio was impossible to ignore in her brilliance up forward: she slotted three of her own goals from five score involvements and six marks, including a seemingly impossible grab in the first half of the match.

Senior coach Daniel Harford was first to praise Vescio for her influence on Saturday, awarding the forward the ever elusive ‘Chocolate Frog’ award following the match.
