This Friday morning, February 6th at Visy Park will see the Carlton players in their first official ‘intra-club’ match for 2009. This will be the first hit-out for the new season with a number of the new recruits in action for the Blues for the fist time.
The majority of players will be involved in the two 20-minute halves of football that is scheduled to commence at 9:30am. The notable players who will not be in action include:
- Chris Judd
- Andrew Walker
- Heath Scotland
- Robbie Warnock
- Brad Fisher
- Adam Bentick
And Chris Yarran and Jeffery Garlett who have both been selected in the 2009 Qantas Indigenous All-Star team to play Adelaide in Darwin on the weekend.
While the match is expected to be two 20-minute halves, it is possible this may change on the day due to the weather.
