THE CARLTON Football Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with ADCO Constructions, one of Australia’s oldest and most established construction companies.

Aligning with the Blues during NAIDOC Week, ADCO has committed its support for the next two years as the official partner of the Club’s Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness-raising activities.

Supporting Carlton in its endeavours to stand up to racism and improve cultural awareness, ADCO will be associated with activations across Sir Doug Nicholls Round and NAIDOC Week moving forward, as well as on the Club’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.

ADCO is also responsible for the current construction of the IKON Park Masterplan redevelopment.

Carlton CEO Cain Liddle said the football club was delighted to partner with an organisation that shares the same values and a commitment to reconciliation throughout the community.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome ADCO Constructions on board for the next two years and to do so with a great purpose,” Liddle said.

“A key component of the vision we have outlined in our strategic plan is to ensure that our people feel the strongest possible sense of belonging to our club, so to align with an organisation as equally as invested in celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage, is extremely important to us.

“We look forward to working with ADCO as we continue our Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness-raising activities to make a stand against racism and improve cultural awareness throughout the community.”

ADCO Constructions CEO Neil Harding echoed the Club’s sentiments.

“ADCO is incredibly pleased to partner with the Carlton Football Club, supporting its Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness-raising activities,” Harding said,

“As a business, ADCO values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures. We aim to proactively build positive relationships and enhance knowledge across our business, supply chain and within the communities in which we work.

“Through the introduction of our Reconciliation Action Plan, our contribution to reconciliation sees that we foster respectful and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, increasing awareness of our RAP both internally and externally while exploring and harnessing opportunities throughout all stages of procurement and employment.

“ADCO is excited to continue our collaborative relationship with the Carlton Football Club. We look forward to partnering with a respected and important Australian organisation that is clearly aligned to ours in terms of Indigenous advocacy.”

Since 1972, ADCO has completed over 3,500 projects nationwide and from day one, has been steered by family values, trust and honesty. ADCO is committed to quality delivery, to its clients and its people.
