Lachie Fogarty made his way to the Club in the 2020 trade period, having played 23 games for Geelong since his debut in 2018.
After suffering an injury-laden 2021 and 2022, Fogarty made his return to the highest level in Round 14 of 2023, kicking four goals in his first four games.
A clean user of the ball and a high-pressure player, the 24-year-old’s physicality and class with the ball made him an important addition to the Blues’ offensive-pressure mix.
Fogarty only missed one game between Round 14 and the preliminary final, solidifying his spot in the side and earning himself a year's contract extension until 2024.
He chalked up his 50th game in Round 21 and will be looking to carry form and a complete pre-season into 2024.
