Since day one when being selected with pick No.1, Sam Walsh has been all in with the Navy Blues.

After his first three seasons in the competition, Walsh had already been crowned an AFL Rising Star winner, All Australian and John Nicholls Medallist, while he was named a co-vice captain of the football club, working closely with skipper Patrick Cripps and fellow co-vice captain Jacob Weitering.

Walsh’s commitment to the Carlton cause was further illustrated when he committed his long-term future to IKON Park, signing an eight-year contract extension to remain in Navy Blue until 2034.
