Arriving at Carlton from Sydney via Adelaide, Luke Parks’ SANFL gamble paid off when he was selected by the Blues in last year’s NAB AFL Rookie Draft. Originally from New South Wales, Parks made the move to Glenelg for the 2020 season to develop his game and give himself the best opportunity to play AFL football. A courageous defender who plays above his height, Parks’ aerial ability is his main asset, often reading the play and peeling off to intercept.
