AFLW clubs: Carlton
Carlton debut: Round 1, 2017
Recruited from: Diamond Creek (VIC)
Co-captain Katie Loynes has been a consistent midfield performer for the Game Changers. Ever the warrior on the field, the veteran played the only way she knows how to. If you weren’t seeing Loynes on the bottom of the pack, you’d see her hurling her body through the air to spoil a mark, or throwing herself recklessly over the boot of the opposition to smother a kick. Unfortunately, Loynes' 2021 campaign was interrupted with injury, but her leadership off the field held the Blues in good stead.
Draft history: 2018 NAB AFLW Draft 14th round selection, No.110 overall.
