Carlton completed a trade with Gold Coast that saw Charlotte Hammans coming to Ikon Park in 2021. The 19-year-old was one of three inaugural AFLW signings for the Gold Coast in its first season, having enjoyed a stellar junior career, as evidenced by her four goals in five games for Queensland in the 2018 National Championships and selection in the Under 18 All-Australian squad. She was also a rising star through her school football career, winning three Queensland State Championships for South Coast. Hammans will bring elite skill, athleticism and speed to the Game Changers in 2021, hoping to make her mark inside 50.
