Martial artist James Te Huna stopped by Visy Park this week, as part of his quest to shed weight ahead of his next fight.

Te Huna is aiming to move from the light heavyweight class down to middleweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship – but to get there he needs to lose 13kg.

Carlton staff have been working with the 32-year-old, who hopes to lose the weight and move divisions before his next fight in May.

Te Huna, who is from New Zealand, has spent the best part of two decades living in Sydney. But he says when it comes to AFL he’s a Carlton man through and through.

“I first came to the club 18 months ago and I’ve been supporting the Blues ever since,” Te Huna said.
