TRANSPORT
From Monday 1 June 2026, Public transport in Victoria is half price across Victoria until 1 January, 2027. This includes Melbourne trains, trams and buses, and regional trains, coaches and buses (including intertown and regional town bus services).
Half price fares apply automatically to all public transport services statewide and to all passengers, including concession holders.
Tap and go has now been switched on anywhere you can use a myki on trains. Full fare customers can now tap on and off using a credit or debit card, phone or smartwatch to pay for their train travel.
