TRANSPORT
Victorians can enjoy free public transport in Melbourne from March 31 until and extended May 31.
Key details below:
- Eligible Services: All metropolitan and regional trains, trams, and buses will be free during this period.
- Myki Card: No need to tap on or off with Myki cards during the free period. Accidental taps will not incur charges.
- Pass Holders: Existing Myki pass holders will have their passes paused until the end of April.
TRAIN
- Southern Cross Station is located adjacent to Marvel Stadium and stop for both V-line and Metropolitan train lines. It's a short walk across the Spencer Street/Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge to reach the stadium. Refer to the Public Transport Victoria website for up to date information on timetables and service disruption information.
TRAM
- There are a number of trams that stop at Marvel Stadium via La Trobe Street and Harbour Esplanade (#30, #35, #70 #75, #86).
- Further trams operate within a short walk of Marvel Stadium (#11, #48, #96).
BUS
- The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Station and services airport transfers, as well as routes across regional Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from Southern Cross Station.
CAR
- Car parking is available at Marvel Stadium, with entrances on Bourke Street (Entry A & B) and Wurunderji Way (C).
- Car parking can be booked via the Marvel Stadium website
- Please note, the car park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.
- The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
- Patrons can arrive at Marvel Stadium carpark from 6:00am on game day and must depart by 4:30pm or will be charged an overstay fee of $33.
DISRUPTIONS
TRAIN
- Buses replace trains on the Frankston Line between Cheltenham and Frankston from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to 8.30pm Monday 18 May.
- Buses replace trains on the Stony Point Line between Frankston and Stony Point from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to last train Wednesday 20 May.
