THE AFL has today confirmed the fixture for the upcoming 2022 AAMI Community Series, with Carlton set to once again kick off the pre-season competition in a game against 2021 Premiers Melbourne. 

The Blues and Demons will go head-to-head at Marvel Stadium on Thursday 3 March at 7:20PM (AEDT).

Carlton's AFL side rounded out its 2021 end-of-year training block with some heavy hitting match play in hot conditions. Here's the best of it.

The clash will give the Blues fans to get their first look at some new Blues, while also giving a new-look coaching panel headed by Michael Voss a chance to put all the planning of the pre-season period to the test. 

Ticketing information will be confirmed by the AFL closer to the date, but fans can tune in live via Fox Footy and KAYO. 

All teams will be given the opportunity to compete in one additional pre-season practice match. 

Carlton will face St Kilda, with further details about the game to be communicated at a later date.
